“The IBIM program has not only impacted my daughter’s life in such a positive way but has also given me hope for a better future. As a single parent, I struggled with trying to provide for my family and be 100% attentive and responsive to all of the needs of a growing teenage girl. My daughter began making bad choices and I was at my wits end. I tried professional counseling and talking to her myself but nothing and no one resonated with her until she met Mrs. Cortney and the IBIM mentors. Through them she found confidence, meaningful friendships and most importantly self-love. Because of this program, my daughter is on the honor roll, an emerging leader and is more socially equipped to handle the pressures of being a teenage girl in this world today.
